Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: September 28, 2026

The short version

Informed Dose earns money through affiliate commissions. If you click a link on this site and buy something, the merchant pays us a percentage of the sale. You pay exactly the same price either way — the commission comes out of the merchant’s margin, not your pocket.

This disclosure is made in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255).

Who pays us

We participate in affiliate programs operated by Digistore24 and ClickBank, and we may join others over time. These networks handle the tracking and payment; the individual supplement companies set the commission rates, which typically range from 40% to 75% of the sale price on the products we cover.

We are not employed by, sponsored by, or under contract to any supplement manufacturer. No company pays us to write a review, and no company sees a review before it is published.

How this affects what you read

Here is what we will tell you plainly, because you should weigh it:

  • We only earn on products that have an affiliate program. That shapes which products we can monetize. It does not stop us from covering products we cannot earn from, and it does not stop us from saying a product is not worth buying.
  • Commission rates vary between products. We do not rank or rate products by what they pay. Our evidence ratings are based on the published research on the ingredients, and we cite the studies so you can check our work.
  • A high commission is not a recommendation. Several products on this site pay well and still receive a weak evidence rating, because the research does not support the claims being made for them.
  • We have not personally tested most of these products. Our reviews assess the formulation and the evidence behind the ingredients, not our own experience taking them. Where we have tested something, we say so.

How links are marked

Affiliate links on this site carry the rel="sponsored" attribute, which is the standard machine-readable marker search engines use to identify paid links. Pages that contain affiliate links also carry a visible disclosure in the body of the article.

What we do not do

We do not use fake reviews, invented testimonials, fabricated before-and-after results, countdown timers, or false scarcity claims. We do not write in the voice of a customer we are not. If you ever see something on this site that reads that way, email us — it does not belong here.

A word on supplement marketing

Many supplement vendors, including some whose products we link to, use aggressive sales pages with claims we would not make ourselves. We link to a merchant because you have to buy from somewhere; that is not an endorsement of how they market. Read our review for our assessment, then judge the sales page on its own merits.

Dietary supplements are not reviewed by the FDA before sale, and manufacturers are responsible for their own claims. See our Terms for the full medical disclaimer.
